With this battery & pulse tester, you can test whether the battery is dead or not without opening the watchcase. With it you can also test loose silver oxide and lithium batteries as well as test the watch coil. A fantastic tool for watchmakers and jewelry store associates.
Battery test Instruction:
Move the battery type selector to the appropriate position then insert the battery .
Positive Side Down:
Press down on the spring clip to make contact with the battery check the meter indicator. If the indicator
is on yellow or red then the battery should be replaced.
Movement Pulse Test Instructions:
Slide the battery type selector or switch to pulse test. Place the watch face down on the tester where indicated.

At this time the tester should beep at 1, 5,10,20,30, or 60 second intervals depending on the movement.
Battery Replacement:
When the switch is on pulse test and the red light does not turn on the tester battery (9- Volt Alkaline) has to be replaced.
